To continue receiving security and quality updates, Microsoft recommends updating to the latest version of Windows 10. These devices will no longer receive monthly security and quality updates that contain protection from the latest security threats. Reminder: Windows 10, version 1709, will reach end of service on Apfor devices running Windows 10 Home, Pro, Pro for Workstation, and IoT Core editions. For more information on this change please visit our blog. Security and quality updates will continue to be available via the express and full cumulative update packages.

Reminder: March 12th and April 9th will be the last two Delta updates for Windows 10, version 1709. These editions will be supported till April 14, 2020.Īlong with a Patch Tuesday update for Windchange log, Microsoft has updated the support page for version 1709 by adding the following note. Windows 10 Enterprise and Education edition users still have another year. When extended support ends, Windows 10 will no longer receive security updates that can help protect your PC from harmful viruses, spyware, and other malicious software that can steal your personal information.

This is the time to make sure you have the next available feature update installed. End of mainstream support refers to the date when Microsoft no longer provides non-security fixes, updates, or online technical assistance.
